From the Prague Airport

The airport nearest to Prague is the Vaclav Havel Airport. To get to the Prague’s main railway station (Praha hlavní nádraží) you can use either Aiport Express bus or taxi service phone: 14014. By train with Czech Railways, Leo Express or with RegioJet you can reach Ostrava (Ostrava-Svinov station or Ostrava hlavní nádraží) in 3 hours.

The airport nearest to Ostrava is Leoš Janáček Airport Ostrava, located in Ostrava-Mošnov. From the airport, you can take a bus or train to Ostrava and then continue by tram or bus to FUTUREA, located at Vítkovice 3044, 703 00 Ostrava-Vítkovice.

Travelling by train

If you arrive by train, you can get off at Ostrava hlavní nádraží or Ostrava-Svinov, the two main railway stations in Ostrava. From either station, you can continue by public transport to the Dolní Vítkovice tram stop. From there, FUTUREA is only a few minutes’ walk away, at Vítkovice 3044, 703 00 Ostrava-Vítkovice.

Travelling by bus

If you arrive by bus, you will most likely arrive at the Ostrava Central Bus Station (ÚAN). From there, you can continue to FUTUREUM by taxi or public transport. The Náměstí Republiky tram stop is located just a few minutes’ walk from the bus station. From there, take a tram towards Dolní Vítkovice and get off at the Dolní Vítkovice stop. Travelling by car

You can drive to Ostrava by car from Prague, Brno, Bratislava, Vienna, Katowice and other major cities in the region. Driving from Prague to Ostrava takes at least 3 hours, while the journey from Brno takes approximately 2 hours, with both routes mainly using the D1 motorway.

To use Czech motorways, you generally need an electronic motorway vignette. A standard 10-day vignette costs 300 CZK in 2026 and can be purchased online through the official eDalnice website or at authorised points of sale.
