WELCOME to NOM 2027

Nanotechnology Centre, CEET, VSB – Technical University of Ostrava in cooperation with the Institute of Geonics of the CAS invite you to the jubilee 10th international biennial "Nanomaterials and Nanotechnologies Meeting" (NOM) - NanoOstrava 2027.

In May, we will welcome top scientists from around the world who will share the latest discoveries and innovations in nanotechnology, energy storage, and sustainable energy sources. Key topics of the conference will include how we can contribute to sustainable energy and how energy sources are transforming over time. The conference promises to be an inspiring event for anyone interested in the future of energy and nanotechnology.

Participants can look forward to a varied lecture programme, practical workshops and interesting presentations.The conference not only provides a platform for sharing the most recent knowledge but also offers the opportunity to establish valuable professional contacts and collaborations.

The scientific sessions dedicated to energy, environment and materials characterization in nanoscience will be packed with world-renowned scientists and a number of scientists and speakers from industry. 

For young researchers and students, NanoOstrava presents a unique opportunity to showcase their projects and receive feedback from more experienced colleagues. The conference not only provides a platform for sharing the most recent knowledge but also offers the opportunity to establish valuable professional contacts and collaborations.

Save the Date: NanoOstrava Meeting 2027 (NOM 2027)

We are delighted to announce that the dates and venue for the 10 th edition of the NanoOstrava Meeting (NOM 2027) have been officially set!

The conference will take place from May 18th to May 20th, 2027, at the unique industrial venue FUTUREUM (Vítkovice 3044, Ostrava-Vítkovice, Czech Republic).

NOM 2027 will once again provide a premium space for experts in nanotechnology, energy, materials research, industrial applications, and environmental technologies to meet, network, and exchange innovative ideas. The upcoming programme will focus on connecting cutting-edge research with practical challenges, specifically highlighting these key areas:

  • Energy Management, Accumulation and Storage
  • Sustainable Resources and Raw Materials
  • Environmental Challenges in Industrial Practice
  • Dual-Use Potential of Current Technologies
  • Applications of Nanomaterials in Energy, the Environment and Advanced Industrial Solutions
